- a transient life of travel, discovery exploration around the Globe now ended with stability being the key word, I first arrived in Cumbria in 2004 and for the first time in half a century sensed a coming home. Exploring the entirety of the county for a year seeking a base I finally settled in Kendal and found a Jewel in the Gateway to the Lakes setting me on an explore and sketch overdrive, so many ginnels and hidden places, secrets to be uncovered, painting and sculptural pieces at every corner. Since arrival I worked on behalf of the British Legion, Stonham Housing producing fund raising and awareness projects as I worked on developing my sculptural and painting and practice. Moving to the West Coast in 2016 I set about travelling, again, I cant help it, now, in addition to sculpture and sketch I intend to chart my journeys in a travel Blog as a Journal and hope to see it completed by 2020, another adventure.
